Cancellation Policy Package Deals

In deviation from above cancellation clause, the following criteria apply to package offers (including 2 days of bike-fun, bike weekend, package for active family holidays, bike yoga weekend, etc.):

  • Cancellation
If the offer is cancelled in writing up to 14 days before the day of arrival, 100% of the amount can be refunded. Up to 7 days before the day of arrival 60% will be charged.
Later cancellations will not receive a reduction and the offer will be fully charged.
  • Execution of the activities
By booking this offer, participation in the included activities is possible during the booked period of stay. Participation in the activities before or after the booked stay dates is excluded.
Activities not taken or not attended will not be refunded. The only exception is if the activity cannot be carried out due to extreme external conditions (e.g. lifts closed due to storm, very high avalanche danger, etc.) or force majeure. In these cases, the client will receive a voucher for a later visit to the activity in question.

Insurance

Insurance is the participants own responsibility. The participant is obliged and responsible to insurance coverage is sufficient. Along with the mandatory activity insurance and appropriate accident and health insurance we do explicitly recommend cancellation insurance. Furthermore we highly recommend the membership with the Swiss air rescue association called REGA which provides insurance regarding rescue and evacuation costs.

Legal questions / liability / indemnification

As qualified snow sports instructors and mountain guides with Swiss Federal Certificate we manage the risks on the mountains professionally. As the activities we offer all take place outdoors in nature despite appropriate professionalism and caution it is not possible to eliminate all risks though. With your booking you acknowledge the remaining risks and dangers and refrain from any kind of enforcement of indemnification and other claims towards the operator.

Change of program

As the activities we offer all take place outdoors in nature they are subjected to the influence of  weather conditions – this is surely why we hold such fascination with the mountains, but they can also bring last-minute changes of program with them. Therefore we reserve the right to make those program changes under certain given circumstances, whereby we are always strive to arrange a suitable program (in the case of cancelled group lessons e.g. climbing in the gym, ice-skating, igloo building etc.). Possible additional charges are borne by the participants.

Place of jurisdiction

For all cases of dispute only Swiss courts are in charge, regardless of the participants nationality or the place where the damage occurred. Place of jurisdiction is Schwyz.
